Catherine Walker

Catherine Walker was born in Nova Scotia and has a bachelor's degree in special education from Acadia University and a master's degree in educational leadership from the University of Oregon. She has fifteen years of experience teaching Grades 1–12 in both general education classrooms and specialized programs for students with special needs. She is currently the senior manager of Alberta Education, developing resources to support teachers of students with special education needs. Her areas of specialty are differentiated instruction, learning disabilities, authentic assessment, and individualized program planning. |
