Jen Roberts

Jen Roberts is a National Board Certified teacher of English, and the English Department Chair at Point Loma High School in San Diego, California where she wrangles 9th graders into reading more, and supports her colleagues with technology integration. As one of the first teachers in her district to have a 1:1 laptop program in her classroom in 2008, Jen became an early leader in supporting technology integration in her district, and serves on the Technology Advisory Group for San Diego Unified. After becoming a Google for Education Certified Innovator in 2011, Jen began regularly presenting and training teachers on topics related to the practical classroom applications of educational technology at national and regional conferences. Jen also teaches a course on learning and technology to preservice teachers for the University of San Diego and travels to work with teachers throughout the United States when she is not busy with her own students.
