Tess Pardini

Tess Pardini, a National Board Certified Teacher, has over twenty years of experience working with English language learners.

Tess was featured in a video on successful mentoring programs around the nation (ASCD) and was taped for an interactive, multimedia package for staff development and teacher training (Teachscape). Tess has worked as a classroom teacher in preschool; kindergarten; and first, second, and third grades.

She is now a Reading Recovery teacher and writing resource teacher working with fifth-grade ELL students. For many years, Tess has taught a class to support novice teachers. She has worked with student teachers and mentored first-year teachers.

She has been involved in staff development at the local, state, and regional level. Tess continues to be actively involved in the school's outreach to families in the community who speak other languages.
